If TPS starts running every time you turn on your computer, it may slow down your system or use resources unnecessarily. You can stop it from launching automatically by adjusting your start-up settings. Here's how to do it clearly and safely.
If you have the delay start up program, this will overwrite these actions. In that case, you will have to delete the start up program
Prevent TPS From Starting Automatically
- Open Task Manager
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc or right click on the Window Logo and select Task Manager to open.
- Click "More details" if the window is minimized.
- Go to the Start-up Tab
- Click the Start-up tab at the top.
- This shows all programs set to run when your computer starts.
- Find TPS
- Look for TPS in the list.
- If you're unsure what it is, right-click and select "Open file location" to learn more.
- Disable TPS
- Right-click on TPS.
- Select "Disable" to stop it from launching at start-up.
