Settings | Low Disk Space Error Message

If your C: drive has less than 50GB free space, you may experience:

  • Reduced performance in TPS
  • A Low Disk Space warning message

To resolve this, you’ll need to free up space on your PC using one of the methods described below.

On Trackman systems, the two biggest storage consumers are:

  • Videos from Shot Analysis
  • Virtual Golf courses

Depending on how you use the system, you may need to manage or optimize these files to keep your PC running smoothly.

  1. Option 1: Optimize Downloaded Courses

    • The Download Manager in TPS allows you to:
      • Decide which courses are installed
      • Choose whether updates happen automatically or manually
      • Browse the full Virtual Golf course library or download only selected courses
    • To learn more, see this article: Download Manager in TPS
    • Because each Virtual Golf course is about 500-2000 MB, and there are over 300 courses available, the Download Manager is an excellent way to both control your course offering and manage storage space on your PC.

  1. Option 2: Shot Analysis Videos

    • If you record videos in Shot Analysis, these files can quickly take up a large amount of space. You can safely delete them if you no longer need them. To delete them, please:
      1. Close TPS if it is open.
      2. Open File Explorer on your computer.
      3. Go to this folder:
        C:\ProgramData\Trackman\Trackman Performance Studio\Videos
        • If you don’t see “ProgramData,” click the View tab in File Explorer and check "Hidden items"
      4. Inside the folder, you’ll find subfolders organized by date. Review and delete the videos you no longer need until you have freed up enough space.
    • Important: Deleted videos cannot be recovered or re-downloaded. If you want to keep them, consider transferring them to an external hard drive. For help with this process, see option 3 below.
